Abstract and Research Question
How have businesses on Main street been effected by street level prostitution?
This study looks at the effects on prostitution to businesses in Main South, specifically those on Main Street. In spite of having resources in the city of Worcester, street level prostitution is becoming worse. While not all businesses feel their businesses have been effected by it, many do feel that their businesses have been negatively impacted. Our research incorporates in depth interviews with community members, surveys to local business owners, and outside literature in order to understand the impact of prostitution on a community.
