Abstract
"...Among the animals, sociability predominates over solitude and individualism and I shall endeavor to prove that this is also true among human beings by tracing the relation to the individual to society: first, among primitive people; second, among ancient Greeks and then, among the modern nations, and in so doing I will show its application to education."
