Leir Chair's programming for the 2013-2014 season with a talk on Spanish filmmaker Pedro Almodóvar called “After Volver: Almodóvar in/and Latin America”.

Robert Tobin was the inaugural Henry J. Leir Chair in Language, Literature, and Culture from 2008 until his passing in 2022.
