They were there as the speakers of the symposium "The German Discovery of Sex: Activism, Medicine and Literature", which was part of the Henry J. Leir Chair programming for the 2010-2011 season.
Robert Tobin was the inaugural Henry J. Leir Chair in Language, Literature, and Culture from 2008 until his passing in 2022.
