New structure in the angular and field dependencies of the magnetoresistance of (BEDT-TTF)2TlHg(SCN)4

Abstract
Magnetoresistence measurements of (BEDT-TTF)2TlHg(SCN)4 were made in DC magnetic fields up to 30 T at 0.5 K. Both field sweeps at constant angle φ{symbol} (where φ{symbol} is defined below) and angular sweeps at fixed field were obtained. Resistance vs field dependence near the angle φ{symbol}=50° shows very deep anharmonic dips between 25 T and 30 T. Angular sweeps at 30 T reveal similar looking features between approximately 44° and 64°. Possible explanations of the effect are proposed. © 1994.
