Abstract
- The author comments on an essay by Michael Mosser about the alleged disconnect between academics and military practitioners with regard to problem solving. She thinks that the essay calls on political scientists to engage more closely with the contemporary U.S. military. She stresses the importance for every researcher to weigh the risks and opportunities with dealing intimately with powerful institutions when conducting an analytical study.
