Description
The September 29, 2009 edition of The Scarlet (est. 1939), Clark University's student-run newspaper. The Scarlet is intellectually and editorially independent of the University.
The cover story for this issue is "Ahht in the Pahhk: Elm Park exhibits new sculptures". Other headlines and coverage include Professor Ellen Foley receiving a U.S. Fulbright Scholar award, an interview with resigning Clark President John Bassett, a local fire on Florence Street, Student Council debates, Clark's Invisible Children chapter, smoking ban debates, the G20, Worcester's annual StART on the Street Arts Festival, Clark faculty and students collaborate on the Worcester Art Museum's exhibit "Bound by Fashion: The Corset in European Painting", and more.
