Description

The September 17, 2009 edition of The Scarlet (est. 1939), Clark University's student-run newspaper. The Scarlet is intellectually and editorially independent of the University.

The cover story for this issue is President John Bassett's resignation from Clark. Other headlines and coverage include new tenure-track faculty, mourning English professor William Tappley, new online tools ClarkYOU and L*IN*K, the famed Freud statue, Antichrist fervor surrounding President Obama, Circulatory System performing at Clark, film reviews of 500 Days of Summer, Inglorious Basterds, The Time-Traveler's Wife, and Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.
