The Women of Clark oral history project, supported through a Higgins Institute seed grant, seeks to amplify the voices of Clark women further by collecting the life stories of 20th century women who contributed to Clark from all capacities - as students, faculty and staff members, administrators, athletes, and community partners. The project scope is expansive. We are interested in learning how women came to be involved with Clark; what their most memorable, as well as most challenging, experiences were here; what social, political or other issues were important for women; what formal and informal communities were women involved with; what kinds of relationships did women form at Clark; where did women’s lives take them, after Clark; and how do women reflect now, upon their time at Clark.
