A Clark University faculty talk by Professor Wim Klooster on "Religion and Toleration in the Dutch Atlantic Worls", Klooster. who teaches History at Clark, discusses whether Dutch America was a model of toleration in the 17th and 18th centuries. He focuses on the religious minorities who settled in the New World in large numbers, fleeing religious persecution in Europe. This talk was held on March 29, 2005 and was sponsored by the Higgins School of Humanities.
