To celebrate the publication of “The Confessions of Matthew Strong,” the debut novel by Professor Ousmane Power-Greene (History), a faculty panel examines how the history of racial violence is depicted in fiction. Panelists include Power-Greene, Amy Richter (History), Shelly Tenenbaum (Sociology), Esther Jones (Dean of the Faculty; English), and Kourtney Senquiz (English).
