A broad consensus exits that our public schools must be held accountable for their performance. But are accountability policies based upon high-stakes tests in math and reading working to produce the schools--and students--we need? Richard Rothstein, one of America's leading education researchers will present his ideas on how we should define, measure, and ensure the success of our public schools.
