Abstract
Attorney Tonya Lewis Lee will discuss her role as Vice Chair for the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund and will explain the organization’s “new strategies for a new time.” She will also discuss her work as a TV producer and creative writer to promote and enhance, along with the efforts of other artists, the national and international expansion of social equality. This event is part of the African American Intellectual Culture Series at Clark, and is cosponsored by the office of the Provost.
