Publications
Bob Tobin published over 40 articles and op-ed pieces. He was the author of three books (Warm Brothers: Queer Theory and the Age of Goethe, 2000; Doctor’s Orders: Goethe and Enlightenment Thought, 2001; Peripheral Desires: The German Discovery of Sex, 2015). He co-authored LGBTQ+ Worcester for the Record (2019) with Stephanie Yuhl (Holy Cross) and Joseph Cullon (WPI) and co-curated the exhibit of the same name at the Worcester Historical Museum. He co-edited the book A Song for Europe: Music and Politics in the Eurovision Song Contest (2007) with Ivan Raykoff (New School University), and was also the editor of the 2011 special issue of Psychoanalysis and History called “Global Freud.”
