Abstract and Research Question
This policy brief discusses the challenges of keeping women out of prostitution, especially after their first arrest. The authors advocate for the development of treatment centers in Worcester as an alternative to imprisonment in order to provide direct therapeutic rehabilitation for women seeking to leave prostitution.
