Abstract
When Michael Hagopian made his acclaimed documentary on the Armenian Genocide in 1975, which was nominated for two Emmys, he called it ‘The forgotten genocide’. Decades have passed and hundreds of publications have been printed on the subject since then in a variety of languages; it can now be said that the Armenian Genocide has taken its rightful place within the field of genocide.
