Description
Poster for a talk given by George W. Haggerty (University of California Riverside) titled “Queer Frankenstein", in which Haggerty gave a rigorous scholarly analysis of the queerness of Mary Shelley's Frankenstein. The film still featured on this poster is from the 1974 exploitation film Flesh for Frankenstein, directed by Andy Warhol associate Paul Morrisey. This event was held in the Fuller Room of Goddard Library at Clark University on September 8, 2015.
Some the artists who helped design these posters include Nina Borland, Jasper Boyd, Isabel Miranda, and Sampson Wilcox. This is the current extent of our knowledge regarding the Henry J. Leir poster designers.
