Henry J. Leir Chair (2008-2022)

Event Posters

Robert Tobin was the inaugural recipient of the Henry J. Leir Chair in Language, Literature, and Culture at Clark University, holding the position from 2008 up until his passing in 2022. Part of the Henry J. Leir Chair duties is to develop programming featuring visiting scholars and collaborations all across the Clark campus. The programming Tobin facilitated during these years showcase a remarkable collection of events, a cross-pollination of history, the arts, psychoanalysis, gender, sexuality, and more.

These are some of the posters for Leir Chair Events, currently covering 2008-2016. Some the artists who helped design these posters include Nina Borland, Jasper Boyd, Isabel Miranda, and Sampson Wilcox.

At present, these are the best available versions of these posters. We hope to replace them with higher quality versions, as opportunities permit.
