Photograph of Helga Druxes of Williams College with the Sigmund Freud statue on Clark University's campus green. Druxes was there as part of the Henry J. Leir Chair's programming for the 2016-2017 season with a talk about the rise of the far-right in Germany called “‘Montag ist wieder PEGIDA-Tag’: Pegida’s Community Building and Discursive Strategies.”.

Robert Tobin was the inaugural Henry J. Leir Chair in Language, Literature, and Culture from 2008 until his passing in 2022.
