Description

The twenty-ninth piece of correspondence between G. Stanley Hall and Sigmund Freud. Freud writes about a Dr. Edward Kempf. In a previous letter from Hall to Freud, a copy of which was only found in Kempf's possession, Hall requested that Freud help Kempf get acquainted in his Viennese circle. Freud interrogates Hall's praise by mentioning Hall's partiality to Alfred Adler, whose "complete repudiation of psychoanalysis is involved in the message of his doctrine".

The primary downloadable document contains a scan of the original letter. The supplemental document contains a scan of the translation, likely made soon after the original letter's arrival.
