Abstract
Let me start by laying out some assumptions - though they may be a bit oversimplified - about narrative analysis and qualitative methods. My aim is to orient the reader of this chapter toward options, that is, choices that we have when engaging in qualitative inquiry and in doing narrative analysis as a particular kind of qualitative method. © 2008 Springer.
