Abstract
Multiple actors within America's colleges and universities wish to do something constructive about the world's climate change crisis, both in response to the advocacy of their institutional constituents and out of their own desires to find solutions. Universities are well-positioned to help the world find solutions to climate change. This chapter offers advice to university leaders, faculty, and students, based on the author's experiences in academia and public policy practice, about what they can do to contribute to solving the critical, complex, and multifaceted problem of climate change. © 2025 by IGI Global Scientific Publishing.
