The annual meeting of the AAG is out of control

Abstract

The author reflects on the recently held 2008 annual meeting of Association of American Geographers (AAG) in Boston, Massachusetts. He argues on the way the session was delivered and discussed. The author also clarifies that he is not concerned on the increase of records of attendance and participation but rather on the success the organization acquired during the year.
