Description
The September 25, 2008 edition of The Scarlet (est. 1939), Clark University's student-run newspaper. The Scarlet is intellectually and editorially independent of the University.
The cover story for this issue is "Debate '08: Student Council candidates debate for new positions". Other headlines and coverage include a lecture by Professor Roger Kasperson, ratifying new Clark clubs, Clark's meal plan, a landmark in advanced particle physics, the 2008 financial crisis, anticipating the first Presidential debate between Barack Obama and John McCain, the Michael Vick dog fighting case, Mount Eerie performs at The Grind, slam poetry, comedian Rodney Johnson at Clark, a review of Dalat restaurant, a viola duet performance called "ViolaViola", and more.
