Description
The April 29, 2010 edition of The Scarlet (est. 1939), Clark University's student-run newspaper. The Scarlet is intellectually and editorially independent of the University.
The cover story for this issue is "U-Reka! Thrift store wins idea contest". Other headlines and coverage include Professor Laurie Ross winning the YWCA Erskine Award for Education, Clark receiving the largest gift in its history, "Inside the struggle for unionization", "NASCAR's legitimacy lags", nostalgia, "Where have all the Clarkies gone?", the Second Annual CUFS Student Film Festival, the Senior Studio Art Exhibition, and more.
