Abstract
A Tibetan Buddhist monk, scholar, and educator, Venerable Lobsang Phuntsok will discuss compassion in education and his work as the spiritual director of Jhamtse International, a nonprofit organization that is working to help educate children in a remote area in the Himalayas, where the literacy rate is 2 percent.
