1) From: The Ministry of Interior Administrative Inspector's Office To: The Merzifon County Executive's Office Date: response to the telegraph on 28 July 1915 [15 Temmuz 331] Topic: regarding the forced detainment of girls onder the age of 20, boys under the age of 10, and widowed women who had converted to Islam; and regarding the fact that a few artists who had no relation to the committees would be allowed to stay under the condition that they convert to Islam; 2) From: The Ministry of Interior To: The subdivisions of the Sivas Province Date: [blank] Topic: it requests that the names of the artists who had no relation to the committees and had converted be reported; that the rest be deported; and that the numbers of children in the orphanages and of the women who had remained by becoming servants or through marriage be reported. 3) From: The Amasya District Governor To: The Merzifon County Executive's Office Date: [blank] Number: [blank] Topic: it states that no Armenian would be left in the Province; that they would all be deported to Mosul via predetermined routes; that the sincerity of the wish to convert would have to be established for those who claimed to want to do so; that those whose conversion was accepted would then be divided up between Muslim villages; and that orphaned boys under the age of 10 and girls under the age of 20 would be protected.

From: The Chief of Police Zeki To: The Court of Appeals Public Prosecutor's Office Date: 12 December 1919 [12 Kanun-ı evvel 335] Number: [blank] Topic: it states that Mahir Bey of Zara had been released from prison as a result of the memo sent by the Province; and it asks whether this was applicable to only the aforementioned person, or whether it was also applicable to others as well.
